What matters in the home

Check an addressbuilding, certificates, sales

After a visit for instance: the building, energy certificates, parcel, planning zone and past sales. Your browser asks the public services that publish them (IGN, ADEME, CSTB, Etalab) directly; the address is kept nowhere.

Manage my listings

A listing seen elsewhere

On a computer: drag this button to the bookmarks bar (Ctrl+Shift+B shows it, Cmd+Shift+B on a Mac). On a listing's page, once fully shown, click it: a window opens with the listing found; confirm with its "Add to my map" button.

Add to my map

Paste a listing (phone, or without the button)

On the listing's page, select all its text and copy it, then paste it here with the page's link. The text is read in this browser; nothing is sent.

A listings file

Your own listings, in a JSON file in the format described here: listings file format.

Put it in a folder and connect the folder: Chrome and Edge read it again at each visit; other browsers keep the listings of the last folder chosen. A photos subfolder (scripts/listing_photos.py) adds each listing's photo, read on this computer; outside Chrome and Edge, until the page is reloaded.

In another browser

The alerts reach every browser that has your code. The listings added with the button, the listings file and your saved listings stay in this browser. To pass them to another browser or person: export them, then import the file there (the listings file is connected there instead).

All the listings collected in this browser (alerts, button), not only the saved ones; those of a connected file stay in that file

My towns

The towns, arrondissements or départements you want to live in: the map shows only these, and the Listings tab creates your alerts on the property sites for these places.

Destinations

Where you commute to: an address, a place, or a town (its centre). Each ticked destination adds a commute criterion; open it to set the time you find fine and how you get there. The list stays in this browser.

What matters

Each criterion is scored relative to the places you chose (the whole area when none): adding or removing places can change the scores.
